Undekhi is a compelling drama about how a crisis bares people down to their basic, baser, instincts. Spread across ten parts, the crime thriller packs in a lot of action and reaction. The choice of using a sleepy and scenic hill station of Manali to showcase virgin crime is intriguing. All the characters in ‘Undekhi’ mouth dialogues laced with a generous dose of cuss words in Punjabi, does give the show a true-to-life feel.
The narrative remains interesting and engaging enough for the viewers to stay invested in the series. ‘Undekhi’ makes for a gripping watch that remits on the promise of being a ruthlessly gritty crime drama.
