Avrodh The seige Within, Premiered on Sony LIV, This series makes for a gripping watch. The most extraordinary thing about the series is the way India’s most mattering issues are portrayed. Another lead point is the cast who have pulled in outstanding performances. Vikram Gokhale, playing the role of the Prime Minister is praiseworthy, Neeraj Kabi aced his part; Anant Mahadevan as the Defence Secretary, Darshan Kumaar as an emotional infantry officer and Madhurima Tuli as a vigilante journalist, makes an impact.
The narrative keeps most of the episodes taut with the adrenaline rush and plot it offers. The composition has been very much inspiring and makes us feel the josh. The high-strung story has been built visually with pure perfection.
The series has gone deep into the parts which have never been exposed in a movie. Avrodh’s plot has been well defined and shows the new side of India’s most magnanimous reply to a terror attack. The story takes the next level in showing the backdrop of what occurred before producing a URI Surgical strike than URI movie and other series.
The cinematography and backdrop score keep the spirit and pace going through most of the episodes. Overall despite a predictable narrative arc, there are enough twists and climaxes in ‘Avrodh’ to make it a stellar watch and the cosmic acting keep it on track.
