It is a recent movie that got a digital release on Zee5 on 30th July’2020. The crime, action, and drama stuffed Tigmanshu Dhuliya directs Bollywood movies.

Yaara stars Vidyut Jammwal, Shruti Haasan, Amit Sadh, and Tigmanshu Dhulia as lead actors. The plot revolves around how two protagonists – a beefy Vidyut Jammwal and a brooding Amit Sadh are introduced to the world of crime because of the circumstances. As the story progresses, they are joined by two other young boys and hence incorporate “Chokdi Gang”.

The four are replicated as thieves who run their illegal businesses of bootlegging, smuggling and supplying arms to the Naxals. Four of them grow deeper in crime because of no restrictions at all, whatsoever. The tone of the script is neutral because of the patchy writing and a non-linear narrative style. However, it is a Bollywood remake of a french film A Gang Story.

The bar of expectations from the movie because of the star cast was set high. But, Yaara fails to entertain the audience and proves more of a cringe than being. The film gets the rating of even less than the half by the critics.
