Inspired by the life of IPS Officer Navneet Sekera, Bhaukaal is set in Muzaffarnagar in 2003, which was then better known as the crime capital of India. Directed by Jatin Satish Wagle, this crime thriller is premiered on MX Player. Along with Mohit Raina, the series also witnesses powerhouse performers such as Abhimanyu Singh, Siddhanth Kapoor, Bidita Bag, Sunny Hinduja, Rashmi Rajput, Pradeep Nagar and Gulki Joshi in pivotal roles.

The series tells the tale of how one daring officer goes on a massive clean-up drive to punish criminals, fights local instrumental personalities and reinstate the faith of the people in the law.

The most prominent feature of the story is that it is based on actual truth. Its writers have written the crime series very well, especially the character of its criminals. The performance of all the actors is phenomenal, and the narrative is very well executed.
