Mafia, a ZEE5 original series is released on July 10, 2020. The genre of the series the creators of the thriller are Rohan Ghose and Amrita Sen. the Mafia plot was written by Reetarshi Dutta, Konark Mukherjee, Aritra Sen, and Rohan Ghose. Namita Das, Ishaa Saha, Saurabh Saraswat, Aditya Bakshi, Madhurima Roy, Tanmay Dhanania, and Anindita Bose justified the roles allotted to them very well.

Story of Mafia revolves around 6 buddies from the same college reunites after 6 years from their last trip for a bachelorette party of one of them, Tanya, in a farmhouse in Madhapur. Soon the fun faded away when they decided to play their college time favorite game called Mafia. The further episodes start replicating the events from their pasts and turned out to be a living nightmare to all six of them.

Rishie Rich (Tanmay Dhanania) is a typical spoilt brat with a neverending wealth of his father. With every rich guy comes a side-kick, Sam (Aditya Bakshi) who is really passionate about photography. Just like any other college couple, Ritwik (Saurabh Saraswat) and Tanya (Madhurima Roy) parted their ways. Ananya (Ishaa Saha) is a silent bearer with a brutal past. And then there is Neha (Anandita Bose) who keeps the entire group together and is often called “mother Teressa). The show takes a turn when Nitin Kuman (Namit Das) shows up as a stranger.

A Zee5 exclusive web series revolves around the episodes of the pasts ruining the present of six college friends, putting them in a situation where their friendship bond is at stake and everybody gets involved with fulfilling the need of the hour by deceit and betrayal. Real scare begins when Ananya proposes to play a game of Mafia which they used to play several years ago. The fear keeps on escalating until when they begin to drop dead, one by one.
